They are very comfortable to live in: equipped with modern appliances and furnished with family antiques. The view is over a sunny canal, or over a charming and quiet garden. Public transportation is close, and water taxis can come right up to the house. The choices are: |

The afternoon light floods this apartment because it faces due West and is higher than most of the houses around it. All the windows look out over the garden and the rooftops of Venice. It is very quiet at all times, and the rough beams combined with the Venetian terrazzo floor make it particularly agreeable. It has one bedroom, with queen size bed, bathroom, sitting-room, and large kitchen with a dining-area. The furniture is mostly XVIIIth and XIXth century.

The rooms are large and therefore it can accommodate a family of 5 or 6 persons quite comfortably. The atmosphere is "rustic Venice", with the old beams and Venetian floors, while the furniture is mostly XVIIIth century, with some later, and some earlier pieces.

The atmosphere is that of the elegant XVIIIth century Venice: it has some of the best family furniture and paintings of that period.

This apartment is the owner's home, but it can be rented during the summer for not less than one month. During the rest of the year it can be hired for receptions. There are three bedrooms with queen size beds, three bathrooms, a large living room with dining area, a sitting-room and a kitchen. The atmosphere is XVIIIth century, Venetian, though some of the furniture and paintings are also from other parts of Italy as they came into the family through weddings and inheritances. The six Murano chandeliers were expressly made for the rooms in which they are now.
