Receptions


Visitors to Venice have plenty to see -- streets and canals, monuments and palaces -- but rarely do they get to experience the private life of Venice. After a day spent tramping the city, what could be better than to relax in a comfortable armchair with a glass of wine or cup of coffee and a Venetian hostess to entertain you? And for the business traveler who wishes to entertain in a sophisticated but intimate setting, what could be more appropriate than a traditional meal in a private Venetian house?

At Palazzetto da Schio the whole main floor, including the garden and the ground floor entrance hall, is available for many kinds of receptions, from informal visits to formal receptions and parties.

Informal visits
Groups of visitors may "drop by" at any time of the day and enjoy the hospitality of a Venetian private house. They can relax, have refreshments with the owners, and chat about past and present life in Venice. Maximum capacity is 60 people.

Formal parties
Palazzetto da Schio may be rented for formal parties such as lunches, dinners, cocktail parties, and dancing. Maximum capacity is 32 people for seated meals and 100 people for buffets and dancing. One of the owners is always present to welcome the guests, talk about the house, and generally help the party be a success.
