Floor plan of apartment N.1 "Main floor" (click the image to enlarge it)This apartment is the owner's home, but it can be rented during the summer for not less than one month. During the rest of the year it can be hired for receptions.
There are three bedrooms with queen size beds, three bathrooms, a large living room with dining area, a sitting-room and a kitchen.
The atmosphere is XVIIIth century, Venetian, though some of the furniture and paintings are also from other parts of Italy as they came into the family through weddings and inheritances. The six Murano chandeliers were expressly made for the rooms in which they are now. |

The hall or, in Venetian, “Portego”This room is lit by a three-mullioned window over the garden and has a dining area close to it. At the other end there is the library with a comfortable sofa for reading. |

 |
The silver sitting-roomThis room takes its name from the tapestries hanging, Venetian style, all round the walls. Plenty of light comes from three large mullioned windows with little balconies on wich one can sit and enjoy the view of the canal. |

The green bedroom / sitting-roomExquisite stuccos in pastel colors decorate this room which can be used either as a sitting-room or a bedroom because the large sofa converts into a queen size bed. The view is on the canal. |
 |
 |
The pink bedroomThe hangings of this room are over 100 years old: they have gradually faded but lost none of their charm. The view is on the canal. |

The "isolarium" bedroomAn outstanding collection of rare Venetian prints decorates this room and gives it its name. The view is on the garden side. |

The kitchenOriginally, this was the music room: it still has the parquet floor, the Murano chandelier and the stucco ceiling which make it a charming room to be in. It also has, of course, all the equipement of a modern and efficient kitchen. |
